What happens in the initial consultation?
In the 1-hour initial consultation, Cherry will gather detailed information about your typical day-to-day diet pattern, medical history, social history and lifestyle habits. She will investigate and address the root cause of your health issues, then work collaboratively with you to resolve any concerns. Through comparing your personal nutrition requirements and your actual intake, she will provide diet-swaps and a non-restrictive meal plan suited to your needs. Depending on your reason of visit, Cherry may ask you to keep track of your diet, weight, gut symptoms and mood changes and carry that information onto the review consultation.
What happens in the review consultation?
In the 30-minute review consultation, Cherry will touch-base with you and check for diet progress, review changes you’ve made to your diet or lifestyle and celebrate your small wins and achievements! Review consultations also serve as an opportunity for you to ask any questions about your concerns, provide ongoing counselling and education, or even asking about health information you saw on the internet that you’re unsure about. As a general guideline, clients return for review consultations every 2 to 4 weeks over a 6 to 12 month period.
