Silken tofu

Tofu is a great plant-based protein alternative and an excellent weight-loss food as it contains significantly fewer calories. It is a good fat source for your heart as it reduces the bad cholesterol and increases the good cholesterol. It might also protect you from type-2 diabetes. The isoflavones in soy improve bone structure, increases brain functions, and help decrease the menopausal effects.

Coconut milk

The fat contents in coconut milk are known as medium-chain saturated fatty acids (MCFA). MCFA can be metabolised into energy quickly and is less likely stored as fat. MCFA is converted into monolaurin in the body, a vast anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal component. Coconut milk is also enriched with potassium, phosphorus, and magnesium, which help keep the body’s electrolyte balance. It boosts the immune system, prevents anaemia, and assists with good hair and skin.

Chia seeds

Chia seeds contain antioxidants, fibre, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and different micro-nutrient types. The dietary fibre in chia seeds improves metabolism & gut health. The protein component keeps you full for a long time, thus aiding weight loss. It reduces blood sugar levels and is suitable for your heart health.

Banana

Bananas are instant energy boosters. It contains ample fibre, vitamin A, B6, vitamin C, magnesium, and potassium. Banana can improve your brain functions, boosts your immune system, ease constipation, and reduce overeating. It is suitable for your bones, kidney, and heart.

Peanut butter
