Patients who suffer insomnia can improve their sleeping patterns by eating a small number of almonds regularly. Almonds also provide a tremendous sleep-friendly hormone called Melatonin. Melatonin helps our body to understand the internal clock and prepares us to sleep on time. Milk also contains L-tryptophan, which helps to create more Melatonin. That’s why milk is known as soothing and sleep-boosting food from ancient times.
