Your Cosmetic Acupuncture Treatment Schedule.
Depending on your needs a series of 8-10 treatments are recommended with two appointments per week for the first 2-3 weeks, then one appointment weekly. Once that schedule is completed, we recommend follow- up treatments every 2-3 months help to maintain the treatment effect.
What to expect during your treatment.
Your first consultation includes an in-depth interview to establish your goals, constitution and skin type. Local anaesthetic cream (optional) is applied to targeted face/neck areas, then constitutional points on the body are treated for 20 minutes while this takes effect. Body needles are removed, and gua-sha and facial needles are inserted. Needles are turned every 10 minutes to tighten and lift muscle fibres and retained for 30 minutes. Additional techniques may be used depending on your needs and target areas. Diet and lifestyle recommendations may also be suggested to support your treatment effect.
Your skin is the biggest organ in the body, and it often reflects your internal health and lifestyle. Cosmetic Acupuncture is a great way to improve how you look and feel.
