Infections of the urinary system are quite common, although cystitis (infection of the bladder) is the most frequent offender. Cystitis is basically a bacterial infection of the bladder, occurring more frequently in females. This is due to the fact that the urethra (passage which urine passes through) is shorter in females than in males meaning bacteria can easily travel up and cause an infection.

In acute cases common symptoms include increased frequency or urination, urgency of urination, a possible burning sensation, as well as pain on passing urine. Chronic cases will often have milder symptoms. Cystitis needs to be addressed quickly as it can very easily spread and cause more severe kidney troubles. A quick shot gun approach is needed here to control and eradicate the infection, and afterwards preventative measures need to be employed and we need to work out the causes or triggers of the infection.

Silicon is a crucial trace element, which acts as a semi conductor in the chemistry of bone. It does this by translating physical forces such as weight/stress (via the earth's electromagnetic/gravitational fields), into electrical messages that directs chemicals involved in making bone.

The molecular structure of bone is such that when we put stress on it, as in standing, tiny electric currents are generated which actually help us to continually make new bone. The electricity is translated into the language of chemistry that creates continual bone growth and renewal. That's why folks, who are bedridden for long periods of time, lose bone and may develop osteoporosis.

Many women with the best of intentions take calcium to prevent osteoporosis, however, without silicon to help assimilate it, you may still end up with osteoporosis and problems such as hardening of the arteries, cancer, kidney and gallstones.

There are many ‘tell tale signs,’ that you may deficient in silicon. Weak brittle hair and nails, is the most common sign. Loose teeth can indicate that the tiny ligaments, which anchor your teeth, are deficient in this mineral. If weekend activity causes tearing in the muscle, you are a prime candidate for silicon.

Silicon is of great importance in tissue strength, resilience and elasticity. It can stop your face from sagging or your aorta from rupturing. Silicon acts like ‘Teflon.’

Silicon serves as a semiconductor, transducer and interpreter.

Your body has a vast electrical communication network; every cell is like a crystal radio, passing messages to and fro. When communication breaks down, cells can go haywire and proliferate as in diseases such as cancer.

You find that cancer cells don't have the feedback communication to limit their growth, so unrestricted the cells grow and metastasise wildly.Aluminum, often found in cookware, salt, baking powders and used in keeping salt, sugars and other powdered granules from sticking together, residues can also be found in various manufactured foods and even coffee machines.

It has been shown that Aluminum can stock pile in the brain, causing neurofibrillary tangles, which may result in senility as found in Alzheimer’s. Silicon can bind Aluminum, preventing its absorption and help to avoid such complications.

So as you can now appreciate Silicon is of major importance to your health. You should also be aware that not all forms are bio-available. Therefore, you should consult with your healthcare professional to see if you are in need of Silicon.
