Jane Ma
Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCM), Acupuncturist.
- Registered TCM and Acupuncturist in Australia
- Many years experience working and training in the USA, China and Australia
- Specialises in natural fertility treatments using the latest research results
- Extensive practical experience
Jane Ma was born in mainland China and is a fourth generation member of an esteemed medical family. She has practised extensively for many years on 3 continents, including United States, Asia and Australia and continues to regularly upgrade her knowledge and skills by researching merging ideas and techniques developed by Chinese Masters working in a clinic with a neurologist on Long Island in New York as well as in the genecology department at the Feng-tai Clinic in Beijing
Her vast experience means that she has treated a large variety of medical conditions, including infertility (both female and male), menopause, miscarriage, endometriosis, period pain, irregular periods, bowel problems, cholesterol, liver conditions, hormonal imbalance, depression, blood pressure and more. Using traditional methods to monitor your health, including pulse and tongue diagnosis, Jane will develop an individual treatment program for you using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicines. Treatments and prescriptions can vary depending on your condition, meaning Jane may also prescribe other forms of Chinese medicine, especially if herbs don't agree with you.
Although Jane's work is often female related, she also has many male clients and any men reading this should consider her if they are looking for help with a health matter.
TCM can be very effective working in conjunction with IVF and can significantly increase the chances of a positive outcome from the procedure. IVF patients are given Chinese herbs at critical stages throughout the procedure. At stage one, when the patient is given birth control pills to regulate hormonal activity, the patient is given acupuncture and herbs to help promote smooth flow to the ovaries. Secondly, when drugs are given to stimulate egg production, Chinese herbs and acupuncture helps reduce the side effects of these drugs. Similar herbs are also given before implantation (stage 3) to relax the muscles, prevent contractions and to better enable the embryo to implant into the uterus. It is helpful if the TCM practitioner can be given a good understanding of the reasons for your inability to coneive (to this point), therefore any medical information with a genetic condition or structural abnormality that has previously prevented them from conceiving will be less likely to find success with TCM.
The 3 principals that underpin TCM relate to "deficiency", "stagnation" and "heat" syndromes. TCM will diagnose any patterns of imbalance in these syndromes and aim to correct them. If any of the body's organs are dysfunctional, then health problems will occur. The kidneys, liver and spleen are the 3 most common organs that suffer from disharmony. The object of TCM is to rectify those disharmonies by inceasing energy flow through the body with acupuncture, and prescribing herbs to target the specific syndrome causing your poor health condition.
Jane's excellent command of the English language means that you will easily be able to communicate with her, and she with you. Being a fully registered practitioner in Australia, it means that you can claim your rebate through leading health funds.

Milo Milosevic
Dip. Naturopathy, Cert. Iridology, Scio-Bioresonance Therapist, Member of the ATMS, Naturopath, Iridologist.
I have seen many people in my life who are unwell. Unless you are shown how to be well by someone who knows, it all may seem too hard. I was first introduced to Natural Therapies when I was 23 and having vision problems. I considered myself to be young and fairly healthy until I had my first naturopath appointment; from there I learnt how I could improve my health physically, emotionally and mentally.
Today no one is born knowing how to be healthy or well. Influences from our environment, diet and genetics all play a role in preventing us from feeling as well as we can. Over the last 30 years I have acquired knowledge and understanding of the way our bodies work and my aim is to share this knowledge with you, so that we can work together to manage your health.

Five Reasons to See a Naturopath:
1. You want to make informed decisions about your health. Naturopaths are not just a second opinion from another doctor. They have a completely different philosophy and set of therapeutic methods. The typical patient of naturopathic medicine is quite knowledgeable and wants to understand the complexities of their condition.
2. You want to be treated as a person, not a disease. Modern medicine is based mainly on the diagnosis of disease. Once a diagnosis is made, you are labelled and given the same treatment that everyone else with that disease gets. If it doesn’t work, the “patient has failed the treatment”. One of the core philosophies in naturopathy is that we treat people, not disease. In addition, there are many different remedies for an indicated disease as every patient manifests disease differently.
3. You prefer to use natural substances. Leading a clean and healthy lifestyle can contribute to a long life. Often, natural substances have fewer side effects and can promote health. Naturopaths are extensively trained in all aspects of natural therapies. They are the recognized experts in their field.
4. You want to cure the problem, not mask the symptoms. For many chronic diseases pharmaceuticals only stop or help your symptoms. Once the pharmaceuticals are stopped, symptoms reappear and for some the side effects of pharmaceuticals can be undesirable. A Naturopath chooses natural remedies to address the underlying cause of symptoms.
5. You may have uncommon and complex health issues. Naturopaths have a broad understanding of many aspects of holistic medicine and health. Many people with uncommon health issues seek out Naturopaths when they realize that modern medicine is not helping them.
